Last week in Santa Cruz

This is my last week in Santa Cruz. I have had the most amazing experience here. I moved here 3 months ago to do a product development internship at Sessions, a snowboard outerwear manufacturer. This has been the most valuable experience, from meeting great people to the hands on experiences. I will always be grateful to the people at Sessions who included me in projects and taught me so much.

My roommates this summer have to be the most amazing people I could have ever imagined living with. Charlotte saved my life by subleasing me her room, and letting my cat live there :) I swear, her and I were seperated by birth. Bridget agreed to jump off of a cliff with me after knowing me only two or three weeks, I didn't know her well enough at the time to thank her for spending my birthday with me, I would've spent it alone otherwise. Heidi and I had a lovely experience running from cops, cannibals and canines...I always felt comfortable around her, and loved how she'd get us all to go on little adventures. I wouldn't have gone to the Harry Potter premier had it not been for Megan, who had multiple wands and a sorting hat ahha. When we decided to start a "Lost" marathon, Mischa and I practically jizzed our pants...every time we watched an episode...and she was the one who saw me through my jello shot obsession on the 4th of July and sat with me on folding chairs in our ghetto pool. Emily would sometimes be home, then sometimes she wouldn't...but when she was around, she was so happy and smiling--and i loved hearing her music playing down the hall--it was like all the music i loved, but forgot to download.

It was amazing being close to my sister (Candice), her boyfriend (Alex), and my mom and dad as well. This is the first time in a while that I have been so close to them. Candice and Alex are about to embark on a road trip all over the United States...SO AWESOME! Everyone should check out their blog on their epic journey alexandcandice.blogspot.com -

Alright Santa Cruz, I will miss the delicious Mexican food, the amazing parties, the fantastic roommates, the sunny beaches, the wonderful weather.....everything. :)

Next up, Florence Italy! That's right, my flight is August 21st and I will be living there for 10 months. Should be interesting, stay tuned
